- 6 onion or poppy-seed hamburger buns
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 1/4 lb thinly sliced ham
For the Butter Onion Spread:
- 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons onion, minced
- 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix Butter Onion Spread ingredients together in a small bowl. Spread the butter mixture on the inside cut surfaces of the bun, both top and bottom. Top the bottom bun with ham slices. Top ham with two slices of Swiss cheese. Place top bun on top of cheese. Individually wrap sandwiches in foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until bun is toasted and cheese is melted.
