Crawfish Cheese Bread is my all time favorite stuffed bread!
It’s like biting into a big, cheesy, seafoody, stuffed bread of pure-d-goodness.
I just love stuffed bread because it’s something about when the cheese explodes into your mouth after the first bite that just makes me one happy lady.
Picture biting into bread that’s buttery on the outside and then when your teeth sinks into it you get a cheese and crawfish explosion.
It’s like BOOM or as Emeril would say BAM!
I know y’all think I am exaggerating but wait until you try it.
First, I make up a cheese spread that has Sharp Cheddar, Jack, mayo, a little sour cream and spices.
This mixture is spread into the bread bowl that we created.
Next, I saute Crawfish with peppers and onions in a little olive oil.
This mixture is stuffed into the bread bowls helping to melt that cheese before it even hits the oven!
Remember one pound of crawfish will stuff four of these medium bread bowls.
You might want to double the recipe.
Don’t say I didn’t warn ya’!
After all that yumminess is stuffed into the bread we bake it until the bread is slightly crispy and the cheese inside is melted.
It’s quick, easy and full of delicious seafood flavor.
Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
