Cheese Baby Cheese!
I just love a good burger, but most of all I love a good, moist, juicy, cheesy, turkey burger. I use ground turkey for pretty much everything. I make spaghetti sauce, tacos, enchiladas, egg rolls…
Anything that requires ground beef, ground turkey is a great, lean substitute. The operative word being lean, which means for a good burger it’s needs to remain moist and juicy.
Sometimes lean meats dry out quickly. I have a trick and it’s adding sauteed veggies to the mixture and voila, it’s juicy.
I toasted my bun because that is how I like them, you don’t have to toast them. Another good option is to steam your bun quickly, OMG that is so good. A juicy burger on a steamed bun.
This is the finished product, looks good, huh?
Yes, you knew I was going to eat it!

I had some ingredients left over from making your Red Beans and Rice last week… I’m so glad I did! I used chuck instead of turkey but, other than that, I followed your directions. These burgers were so good!! There was just enough spice, next time I might even add additional peppers. Thank you so much for sharing!
