Shake it Up!
With Summer coming to an end, and my Baby Girl entering high school, breakfast is becoming about me. I want something fast, quick, and healthy.
I often turn to creating smoothies because I can get a lot of nutrition, without a lot of prep work.
My Island Berry Shake is the perfect breakfast.
When I tell you this recipe is quick, I mean really quick. Start with frozen berries, I love raspberries and blueberries, but use your favorite berry.
Place all ingredients in the blender, add ice and about 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil. Blend well and that’s it!
I love to garnish with extra frozen berries, it keeps my drink nice and cold.

1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 tablespoon coconut oil
