Hello Joyce,
No, I didn’t have any smoke issues. I used a cookie sheet that had a lip on it, like a sheet pan. There were no drips. Maybe even try a casserole dish lined with foil and that could help with the drips. Hope this helps, Lisa

Hello Nagi, it’s not spicy to me, but I love spicy food. You could reduce the hot sauce or always add melted butter to the marinade to reduce the amount of spiciness.

Wow! I actually never thought to use all powders instead of fresh garlic, ginger etc (it’s the Japanese in me!), I’ll give this a go. 1 cup of tabasco? Seems like a lot – is this insanely spicy? Or maybe tabasco here in Australia is much spicier than in the states.
