It’s that time of year again and I can’t wait to celebrate Easter!
Every year I look forward to creating my daughter a unique Easter basket and this year we have a special theme.
I headed over to my local Walmart to create Baby Girl her very own Disney Princess Easter basket!
Easter is the time of year that my daughter and I can be super creative and showcase the rainbow in our house.
Baby Girl is very colorful in a hippie kind of way and at Easter time she has the opportunity to create “colorful” things to place around the house.
We love to create vibrant desserts such as neon cookies and cupcakes and place them on beautiful trays around the house.
Upstairs and downstairs you’re going to find special treats around our house during Easter.
When I was a child my mother would create a gigantic family Easter basket for all of us to share.
She would take a big basket or tray and fill it with all kinds of goodies and it would take up the whole table, that’s how big the basket was.
I continue that tradition by creating not only Baby Girl her own special Easter basket but I create a family Easter basket also.
My daughter informed my yesterday that she plan on creating a mini homage to Disney using all her Disney items she collected over the years.
She wants her Easter basket to be center stage and she informed me that’s she’s pulling out the Disney ears that’s she’s had since she was one years old.
That’s 15 year old Disney ears that she doesn’t allow anyone to touch ever!
She told me that she will inform her friends that the Disney table is just to look at, but don’t touch, like a museum, lol!
My job is to make sure I order more Disney candy and have all the supplies for her to create bright, colorful, Easter eggs.
Oh, and to cook all the food because Baby Girl decided to turn Easter into a big party for her friends since she’ll be on Spring break from school!
Baby Girl and I are very excited about our big Easter party plans.
Leave a comment below and tell us what you have planned for Easter.
Aww! I hope my daughter still wants to celebrate Easter when she’s older! I love the Disney Princess basket! #client
Thank you Summer!
