First, my Crab Cakes with Shrimp! Yes, I love a good seafood cake.
Crab cakes are my favorite! They’re easy to make and so darn delicious!
Now add shrimp to these babies and you’ve just created a seafood masterpiece.
Think about it people?
Lots of diced shrimp, buttery crackers, chopped fresh veggies, and crab meat!
This is the top of the food chain of good eating!
Secondly, I am excited about starting my vacation today!
It’s been a rough year for me and I need a break.
I’m gonna take some time off to relax and focus on myself.
I just want to swim, eat good food, and chill out!
These crab cakes are the perfect meal to kick off my vacation.
I think I’m going on a seafood binge while on vacation?
I am about to eat up all of the fish and shrimp from the resort!
I enjoy seafood because it’s light and I don’t have to worry about feeling lethargic afterwards.
It’s over 105 degrees out here so I don’t want to eat any heavy foods.
Well, it’s time to make these quick and easy seafood cakes.
Don’t forget the hot mayo to top them with.

Crab Cakes with Shrimps
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4-6 crab cakes
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. crab meat, flaked or lumped
3/4 lbs. shrimp, diced into small chunks
1 1/2 cups Ritz Crackers, crushed
1 cup Best Foods mayonnaise
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup red onion, minced
1 stalk celery, minced
1 jalapeno, minced
2 teaspoons brown mustard
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon creole seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
extra virgin olive oil
For the Chili Mayonnaise:
1/2 cup Best Foods Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Asian chili paste
Directions:
Rinse, pee,l and devein shrimp.
Chop into small chunks, set aside.
In a large bowl add crushed crackers, minced vegetables, all the spices, mayonnaise and mustard, mix well.
Fold in shrimp, crab, and panko bread crumbs.
Form into 4 -6 patties or you could make appetizer size if desired.
All cakes to chill in the refrigerator covered with saran wrap for about 30 minutes.
Heat about 4 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add patties in brown for about 4-5 minutes per side until nice and golden brown.
Patties can also be placed under the broiler and cooked for about 8 minutes per side.
Drain on paper napkin.
To prepare hot mayo, mix all ingredients together and serve on top of patties.
