The wonderful people at Zulka sent me some of their Morena Pure Cane Sugar for recipe development.
I was going to make a big batch of brownies, but that would be predictable, so I decided to make something my Baby Girl would love, Pecan Coconut Granola!
The Zulka Morena® Pure Cane Sugar is not only all natural, it’s NON GMO! This is going to be the starting point of something good people!
First, I must mention my foodie friend Melissa at, My Whole Food Life, because of Melissa, healthy snacks that I would normally purchase at the store, I am making them from scratch now.
My Baby Girl is happy and even Big Goo is adding them to his lunches. Miracles can happen people…miracles can really happen!
This is so simple, just take some oats, add some honey, grated coconut, molasses, cinnamon, vanilla, coconut oil, nuts and seeds and don’t forget the Zulka Morena® Pure Cane Sugar .
Mix together well and spread out on a baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes, don’t forget to stir around every 7-8 minutes, and that’s it!
While the granola baked, I took some dried cherries and banana chips and used my Ninja to chop them smaller!
Remove the granola from the pan and allow it to cool for about 30 minutes. Fold in dried fruit and banana chips.
It’s all ready to jar and start eating!
Be prepared this makes a lot of granola, but that’s what makes it so worth it!
I love fresh flowers, so I thought in honor of adding sunflower seeds to my granola, why not add a bouquet of sunflowers as well.
