I consider myself a sweet tea connoisseur if I do say so!
Strawberry Peach Sweet tea is one of my all time favorites drinks.
Sweet strawberries and juicy peaches are really a match made in sweet tea heaven.
With the help of frozen fruit you can make this tea year round and don’t have to wait for strawberry or peach season.
Also, make sure you purchase high quality peach tea bags.
I love trying different teas. If you can locate a tea store in your town please visit.
The smell when you walk in is something beautiful. All the different tea notes.
I can never choose what to buy. I do love that you can create a custom blended tea mixture.
First, we add the strawberries, peaches, sugar, and a little water to a pot to make simple syrup.
Bring mixture to boil. Reduce head, allow to simmer until sugar is completely dissolved. Turn off heat, cover with a lid, let sit for 25 minutes.
Secondly, in a other large pot add all the remaining water, bring to boil, and tea bags. Steep for about 6 minutes. Remove tea bags, allow mixture to cool.
It’s time to strain the strawberry peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
Use the back of a spoon to get all the good stuff out.
Take the liquid and refrigerate until chilled.
Lastly, mix the tea with the simple syrup, add strawberry extract, and mix well.
Serve over ice garnished with extra fruit and mint.
